- We Need Your Sandwiches!! Make a sandwich to feed those who are homeless. Each sandwich makes a difference. Bring your sandwich to Church.

- Children and adults are equally part of our community and fellowship. Adults want to hear the sermon and children need to feel welcome even when they are noisy. Let's make this possible as gently as possible
- The Bric-à-brac shop needs English/French dictionaries, Bibles and booksfor the Cavendish Sale 28-31 August. If anyone can help at the Cavendish sale for a 2-hour slot please speak to Pat in the shop.
- 3 hours' free, secure, covered parking for Cathedral worshippers on Sundays at Mandela-Rhodes Place. Rebate cards are available from the Ushers.

- Next Sunday - Sunday 31 August - Sunday of Compassion and Cathedral Day: The Reverend Chris Ahrends, former Sub-Dean, will preach at the Cathedral Eucharist at 09h15 and at the Solemn Sung Mass at 11h00. The University Cathedral Singers and the Bishops Choir will sing the Mass for Organs and Double Choir by Charles-Marie Widor.
- 29-31 August: Archdeaconry Young People's Camp at the Melkbos Cultural Centre. All young people welcome. R100.00 includes meals and accommodation. - Sunday 14 September Congregation Sunday: Annual Cathedral Parish Breakfast served after each of the morning services. All are invited and everyone is encouraged to attend. Those willing to help on Saturday and/or Sunday are asked to call the Cathedral Office.
