The Lady Chapel

At the west end of the South Aisle is the Lady Chapel, a quiet chapel used mainly for private prayer. The circular window above the altar is a Pietà - the Blessed Virgin with her crucified Son's body lying across her knees.

The silver lamp above the altar burns perpetually while the reserved sacrament is kept in the tabernacle on the altar.
