World Labyrinth Day
Saturday 1st May 2010, 12:00 - 14:00

Walk as One at One

World Labyrinth Day brings people from all over the planet together in celebration of the labyrinth as a symbol, a tool, a passion and a practice.

Just as there is no wrong way to pray, there is no wrong way – only right ways – to walk a labyrinth. There are also only right ways to celebrate World Labyrinth Day, and here in Cape Town we call that Siyahamba – praying with your feet.

As part of this celebration you are invited to “Walk as One at 1” to effect a rolling wave of labyrinth walking as the earth turns. We are gathering at noon so that we are walking at one o'clock on 1 May, and other labyrinths around the world will be doing so in their own time.

All welcome - Siyahamba!

Regular Facilitated Labyrinth Walk
Saturday 8th May 2010, 14:00 - 16:00

Every second Saturday of the month, we hold a facilitated walk from 14:00 to 16:00. You may take advantage of the guidance, or just come and walk, whatever you feel is best for you, in a safe and calm environment. All are welcome.

The Labyrinth is a gentle ministry that will rise according to your spirit. Feel free to walk it anytime during office hours, as well as Sundays. The Labyrinth is an ancient meditation tool and is open to all, regardless of religious persuasion.

On the second Saturday of each month, we arrange a facilitated walk from 14h00 to 16h00. You may participate in the facilitation, or just come and walk, whatever you feel is best for you.

Group and Booked Walks

A number of groups and individuals have expressed the desire to hold arranged facilitated walks. This will be booked on request and refreshments and a facilitator arranged as required.

Please contact Ann Cox in the Cathedral office on 021 424 7360.

You are invited to "Pray with your feet".

Feet which trod the pavement
round about God's board,
let them walk in glory
where God's light is poured.
